FiberMX - NC™ PRODUCT DATA
FiberMX-NC™ is a "green" blend of monofilament nylon and post consumer and post industrial cellulose reinforcement for concrete™.
Plastic shrinkage cracks are dramatically reduced in volume, size and number by this micro fiber blend! Settlement shrinkage is also reduced.
Performance meets or exceeds virgin cellulose and polypropylene - at a lower cost economically and environmentally (due to a smaller carbon footprint).
FiberMX-NC™ is an alternative to steel wire and mesh for secondary reinforcement. It is non-corrosive, chemically inert, and complies with ASTM C-1116, ASTM D-6942, and ASTM D-7357.
Scientifically engineered, FiberMX-NC™ at 1.5 lbs provides two billion fibers at 2.2 mm (average length).
Over forty years of university testing has proven the crack reducing effectiveness of recycled post consumer and post industrial cellulose fibers.

MIXING REQUIREMENTS AND ADDITION RATES
No mix design modifications or placement changes are required at normal addition rates. FiberMX-NC™ may be added to the mixer before, during or after batching other concrete materials. Mixing time and speed as specified in ASTM C 94. Mixing time for precast applications may be significantly reduced compared to other types of fibers. The recommended minimum addition rate for FiberMX-NC™ is 1.5 lbs per cubic yard (.9 kg per cubic meter) of concrete.
Fully automated fiber dispensers are available for ready mix, precast & pre-bagged applications.
COMPATABILITY
FiberMX-NC™ is compatible with all commonly used admixtures.
FINISHING
Concrete reinforced with FiberMX-NC™ finishes easily with normal finishing techniques in accordance with ACI 304, Section C3.
PACKAGING
FiberMX-NC™ fiber is available in plastic wrapped and palletized 28 lb to 800 lb bales.
FiberMX-NC™ bales may be stored outside!
GUIDELINES
FiberMX-NC™ should not be used to replace structural reinforcement.
