Section II – Composition and Ingredient Information

All components are non-toxic, non-caustic, non-corrosive. This product is not considered hazardous under the criteria of the Federal OHSA Hazard Communication Standard 29CFR 1910.1200, IARC or NTP. Maintain airborne concentrations no greater than 10 mg/m3.

FiberMX-NC is a blend of the following: CAS Registry #: Cellulose #9004-34-6 Nylon #25038-54-4

Exposure limits are PEL-TWA 15mg/m3 total dust and respirable fraction.

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Any standard agent.
FIRE FIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS: Use standard procedures.
FIRE AND EXPLOSION DATA: Will char /smolder similar to compressed paper. Airborne concentrations exceeding 160 grams/m3 may combust if exposed to ignition source.

STABILITY: Stable HAZARDOUS AND BYPRODUCT COMPOSITION: None
CONDITIONS TO AVOID: Keep away from strong oxidizers, such as concentrated nitric acid, hydrogen peroxide, and chlorine.

Section VI - Health Hazard Information:
INGESTION: Not considered toxic. Do not ingest. Will pass through body normally.
SKIN: Does not normally itch or irritate skin. If skin is broken or sensitive, cover or use gloves.
INHALATION: Dust may irritate nose or throat. If excessive dust, wear NIOSH N95 approved mask
EYES: Wear ANSI approved eye protection if environment is dusty. Rinse with water.
CARCINOGENICITY: None Known OHSA REGULATED: No, classified as "Nuisance Dust"
PRECAUTIONS: Avoid prolonged breathing of dust. May aggravate emphysema or respiratory disorders.

Section VII – Precautions for Safe Handling and Use:
IN CASE OF SPILL: Shovel or sweep up and place in container for disposal.
DISPOSAL METHOD: Landfill in accordance with regulations. Not known to have any adverse affect on the aquatic environment.
STORAGE: Dry, indoor storage is recommended at ambient temperatures not exceeding 170F due to packaging. Do not expose to open flame.
PRECAUTIONS IN HANDLING: Individuals with hypersensitivities or allergies should avoid participating in the installation or clean-up.
TRANSPORATION: FiberMX-NC is not a DOT Hazardous Substance.

RESPIRATORY: Where dusty conditions exist, use NIOSH approved dust mask.
